Hiring the ferry
The ferry can be hired for trips up the river to Colchester or down the river towards Alresford Creek. This is usually available on weekdays and evenings subject to tide and weather. We can take groups of up to ten people.
We have taken friends and families out for extended trips and picnics and we have ferried wedding parties across the Colne.If you’d like to explore the river or have a celebration coming up please contact Phil on 07749 430298.The cost to hire is £80 for a 3.5 hour session.
